Privacy policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026 · Applies to FullPage Capture v1.8.6 and later
The short version: FullPage Capture collects nothing. It makes no network requests, has no accounts, no analytics and no third-party services. Your screenshots never leave your device.
What we collect
Nothing. The extension:
- does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data;
- does not use analytics, telemetry or crash reporting;
- does not require an account or sign-in;
- makes no network requests of any kind — it works fully offline.
Where your screenshots live
Captures are stored in your browser's local database (IndexedDB) on your device. They are deleted when you delete them in the extension, and removed entirely when you uninstall the extension. Files you download go to your Downloads folder like any other download.
Permissions, explained
- activeTab, scripting — to capture the tab you clicked on. Access is granted per click and only to that tab.
- storage, unlimitedStorage — to keep your captures and settings locally; full-page screenshots can be large.
- webNavigation — to find embedded frames when you choose to capture one.
- downloads (optional) — requested only if you enable a custom Downloads subfolder.
- Site access — used solely to run the capture script on the page you are photographing. No page content is ever transmitted anywhere.
Third parties
There are none. No third-party code is loaded at runtime, no CDN calls, no external fonts, no ads.
Changes to this policy
If a future version ever changes any of the above (for example, an optional screenshot-sharing feature), this policy will be updated before release and the change will be clearly announced in the extension.
