What you do with the capture

How to take a screenshot with it
Add FullPage Capture to Chrome or Edge. From the Chrome Web Store or Edge Add-ons. No account, no sign-up, no watermark.
Click the icon on any page. Or press Alt+Shift+K. A page that fits on the screen is captured as it is; a longer one scrolls and captures itself, sticky headers once, inner panels unrolled.
Copy, annotate or export. The result opens in its own tab. Copy it to the clipboard, open the editor to draw, blur or crop, or save it as PNG, JPEG or PDF. Every capture is kept in Files, in this browser, until you delete it.

Is it free?
Yes. Capturing the whole page, copying it, saving it as PNG or JPEG and exporting a PDF with smart page breaks are free, with no watermark and no limit on the number of captures. Does it need an account?
No. The free extension works without one from the first click. Pro needs an account, because that is how Pro follows you between browsers.
Do my screenshots leave the browser?
No. The extension makes zero network requests. Captures are stored in the browser's own local database on your device. The only thing it ever sends is a bug report, and only when you press Send.
Can I capture just the visible part of the page, or a region?
A page that fits on the screen is captured as it is. For a region, capture and crop in the editor: the crop tool takes exact pixel sizes. There is no drag-a-rectangle mode on the page itself.
Does it record video or the screen?
No. It is a screenshot extension for web pages. It does not record the screen and does not capture other applications.
Can it capture a PDF file opened in Chrome?
Yes. A PDF opened in Chrome's viewer is captured whole, every page fit to the width of the tab in one image, rendered by the extension itself. A password-protected file cannot be captured.
Which permissions does it ask for, and why?
Access to the page you are on, to scroll it and read its size; scripting and web navigation, to reach inside embedded frames; storage, to keep your captures on this device; context menus, for the right-click entry; identity, only if you sign in for Pro; and downloads, requested the first time you save a file. Which browsers does it run in?
Chrome and Microsoft Edge, from their own stores, and any other Chromium browser (Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Arc) through the Chrome build. Not Firefox and not Safari. Edge Add-ons
Can I change the keyboard shortcut?
Yes. Alt+Shift+K is the default; change it at chrome://extensions/shortcuts (edge://extensions/shortcuts in Edge).
What languages is it in?
The extension speaks 32 languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian, Indonesian and Turkish, and follows your browser language.
